From April 6 to 7, the Second International Forum on Psychological Sciences and Human Factors in 2019, sponsored by the Center for Psychological Sciences at Zhejiang University, was successfully held. Ten experts and scholars from home and abroad brought reports on psychology, cognitive neuroscience and human factor engineering, and shared the latest research progress.

The report of this forum includes “Multiple face  processing”、“An objective and sensitive  neural measure of individual face recognition at a single-glance in a dynamic visual stream”、“The capacity of cognitive control”、“Perceptual organization: developmental changes and the role of early visual experience”、“The special profile of dyslexic musicians: evidence from behavioral and ERP data”、“Hazards to early development - the biological embedding of early life adversity: evidence from the bangladesh early adversity neuroimaging (BEAN) project”、“Experience-based perceptual development in early infancy”、“Designing simulations to facilitate learning: a few lessons and thoughts on emerging technologies”、“A neuroergonomics approach to monitor team experience”and“Human factors in driving”.It covers the cognitive mechanism of multi-face processing in visual cognition, the rapid recognition of individual faces, the quantification of cognitive control ability, the development track of perceptual combination ability, the influence of early adversity on children's physical and mental development, the development of infant's experience perception, the common nerve resources dealing with music and language, and the simulation environment of 2D and 3D in education. The importance of using, effectively evaluating team performance and crisis event management simulation experience, and influencing factors of daily driving tasks are also discussed.

The lecture is rich in content and close to the frontier of psychology and human factor engineering. Participants actively asked questions about the reasons and significance of topic selection, the specific operation of experimental implementation, etc. The atmosphere of the venue was very active, and  rigorous answers of the guests won applause from the audience.

The Forum on Psychological Science and Human Factors the characteristic annual forum of the Center for Psychological Sciences. It covers psychology, cognitive science, neuroscience, neuroengineering, physiology, kinesiology, biomedical engineering, automatic control, information, computer science, artificial intelligence, psychological engineering and other related sciences. It provides a platform for sharing the research progress of psychological science and human factors and seeking solutions to scientific problems in related fields. Center for Psychological Sciences invites relevant research institutions and scholars at home and abroad to work together to promote the development of psychology and Related Interdisciplinary disciplines.

Nearly 50 colleagues from Zhejiang University, Suzhou University, Zhejiang University of Technology, Shandong Normal University, Zhejiang Normal University and Hangzhou Normal University participated in the forum.
