The 2018 Seminar Series on Psychological Sciences and Human Factors was successfully held

From April 28 to 29, 2018, the 2018 Seminar Series on Psychological Sciences and Human Factors, jointly sponsored by the psychological science research center of Zhejiang University and the Department of psychological and behavioral science, was held in the 212 conference room of the Run Run Shaw Science Museum in the Yuquan campus of Zhejiang University. 10 famous scholars and 10 young scholars from home and abroad have brought 20 theme reports, sharing the latest advances in psychology, cognitive science, neuroscience, physiology, biomedical engineering, automatic control, information and computer science, artificial intelligence, and so on.

Aruin, Knecht Sports Science Laboratory of University of Illinois, Professor Yu Zhiwen, Northwestern Polytechnical University, Professor Jan Theeuwes, Department of experimental and applied psychology, Vrije University Amsterdam, Researcher Li Fang, Zuckerman brain behavior Institute, Columbia University, Professor Xue Gui of the National Key Laboratory of cognitive neuroscience and learning of Beijing Normal University, Professor Chen Weidong of the Department of computer science and biomedical engineering of the Zhejiang University, Professor Ivo Vlaev, Department of behavioral science, University of Warwick, Professor Du Feng, Institute of Psychology.CAS, gave a report respectively, entitled ”How psychologists can help phiysicians improve quality and patient satisfaction through evidence-based communication coaching”, ”Feedforward and feedback control of posture”, ”Smart society: From sensing to understanding”, “Statistical learning drives visual selection”, “Reciprocal couplings in eye contact”, “Brain-based learning: Basic research and implications”, “Human factors in China:  New challenges and opportunities in the new technology era”, “Brain-Machine Interfaces: Frontiers and Applications”, “What is unique about Behavioural Economics?” and “Altered visual processing near hands”.

This event is another international academic exchange after the 2017 Youth Scholars' Forum in psychology and related disciplines. It aims to provide a platform for sharing psychological science and progress in engineering research and seeking to solve scientific problems in related fields. The Department of psychological science research, psychological and behavioral science is willing to work with relevant research institutions at home and abroad to establish effective communication and cooperation mechanisms in scientific research, technological innovation and product development, and jointly promote the development of psychology and related disciplines.

More than one hundred people from the astronaut scientific research and training center, the Nanjing University, the East China Normal University, the Zhejiang University of Technology, and the higher Research Institute the school of education, the school of letter and telecommunications, the Energy Institute, the school of biology, the photoelectricity college, the second affiliated hospital of medical college, the City College and other brothers of Zhejiang University, participated in this activity.
