Notice of faculty recruitment of the Center for Psychological Sciences (CPS)

The Center for Psychological Sciences (CPS) is one of the important contents of the 'Support plan for first-class, core and basic subject construction (science)' at Zhejiang University. The center possesses accumulative effect of multiple discipline. The CPS mainly involves in psychological problems produced in scientific frontier, national economy and new defense technology, builds high-quality and interdisciplinary research teams, through undertaking major national projects and extensive cooperation with research institutes and enterprise institutions, conducts applied research of frontier exploration and industrial innovation for related areas. CPS spares no efforts to become an influential research institution and talent training base in China and abroad.

The center is mainly engaged in major engineering projects’s human factors and human engineering such as aerospace and advanced weaponry and equipment, intelligent computing and Internet use, big data analysis and prediction of individual and group behavior, safety, medical and health living engineering, cognitive processes and cognitive neurology, material basis of psychological process. According to Zhejiang University talent strategy as well as the need to form an interdisciplinary research team, the center will introduce the leaders of high-level disciplines by all kinds of talents plan of Zhejiang University. Welcome elites at home and abroad in psychology, physiology, information science, data science, automatic control, electronic engineering, industry design, neuroscience, biomedical engineering, biochemistry and other fields of research to join in CPS.

1.   Job type and recruitment objective

1)   Zhejiang University qiushi distinguished professor

Recruitment objective: associate professor and above (professional technical position) or scholar in the same position in  high level university, or domestic outstanding young fund winner.

2)   Researcher of 100 people plan of Zhejiang University

Recruitment objective: Outstanding young scholars or faculty members obtained tenure track in famous universities at home and abroad.

2.   Materials provided by the applicant

(1) resume, (2) summary of scientific research achievements in the past five years and catalogue of published papers, (3) future research projects, (4) teaching ideas and ideas, (5) scientific research requirements.
